I would like to introduce myself – I am Vicki, I am the founder and director of Victory Events. I live in Fareham with my husband Ed, little boy Jamie and we are expecting our second child in August!
I have always had a passion for events and weddings, when I was at school I used to tell people I was going to be an events planner. It didn’t quite pan out, the want for a job and quick money turned in to a career in customer services and IT. I had spent over 10 years planning and decorating all my friend’s and family’s events & weddings but it wasn’t until 2019, when I was pregnant with my son, that I took the leap of faith to start my own business up.
The name was born from the love of our Naval home town, Portsmouth, and my full name- Victoria, oh yeah, and a suggestion from my mum. After attending several event & balloon courses (a previous business degree) and a loan from my parents, I took the risk and invested. Fast forward to 2 years later, Victory Events has grown and expanded more than I could have ever imagined in that time and we now offer a huge array of Event, Corporate and Wedding Decor of the highest quality.
I have taken on a few staff members and have my husband and parents who all play an integral part in Victory Events. All of us care deeply about each and every event we set up so you know you’ll be in safe hands with our team.
I cant wait to see what the future will bring. One thing I do know for sure is we are constantly investing in new products and learning new techniques so we can bring you the very best and up to date decor. We also hope to branch out and cover not only Hampshire but also Dorset and London, and maybe even bag a celebrity event or two!
